Abstract

This literature review has been developed by the Youth Research Centre, Melbourne Graduate School of Education (MGSE) as part of a project for the Victorian Government Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD). It aims to inform the Department's strategies in the area of promoting resilience in children and young people. It also provides an evidence base for effective social and emotional learning (SEL) curricula to guide the development of new lesson plans for Victorian schools.
