Settlement Grants Program

SEAAC

The Settlement Grants Program (SGP) is a multifaceted program of support for young people (12 - 25 years) who are new to Australia (between 6 months and 5 years in the country) and have entered on a refugee or humanitarian visa.

Under this program, individual support is provided with a strong focus on the client's cultural context, and concentrates on orientation to Australia and the local community, providing information and referral.

This program is directly funded by the Commonwealth of Australia government department responsible for Immigration and Citizenship.
